I work from sittings and or photographs which ever suits the situation best, especially when the sitter is a child.

I have painted entirely from photographic sources but, this is has only been in cases when the sitter has been known to me personally. I will accept commissions of this type if the photograph is of a high level of quality and detail.

I normally paint a 4 hour study from life take numerous photographs and complete the commission in my studio. If time permits I will paint the entire portrait from life.

Commissions are completed within 3-5 months depending on size and complexity.

Prices vary on size and complexity and range from £250 up.

A 20×16 oil painting for instance of one sitter starts at £500.
